As an invitation only private investment company, we invest our own money and have the flexibility to put our money into Startup, Seed, Series A+, Pre-IPO and IPO opportunities. Our investment time horizon is flexible, ranging from 1 to many years, with the intention to follow on over subsequent rounds as the business and capital requirements grow. Activ8 Ventures can lead rounds, or co-invest with other professional investors and will offer introductions to a wide network of investors with a similar investment profile.

The founder of Activ8 Capital, Chris Northwood, has been on both sides of the entrepreneurial fence, having started his career in investment banking, then spending a decade building a global sporting goods design, branding and distribution business, which manufactured products in over 10 countries and sold products in over 50 countries.

In 2017 Chris founded the Activ8 Capital group to advise other entrepreneurs and create a bridge between high growth businesses/startups and high net worth and professional investors, having raised ~A$43m for listed and unlisted growth businesses.
